"Classroom of the Future" at ATE's 2009 Annual Meeting in Dallas
The 2009 Annual Meeting in Dallas will feature a unique "Classroom of the Future," showing some of the latest technological advances available and allowing attendees to see the benefits of incorporating technological innovations into the classroom. ATE's Technology and the Future of Teacher Education Committee is coordinating this with the help of Apple Computers, Promethean, and other technology vendors. Watch for additional information soon!
Promethean Board Raffle
There will be a drawing for a Promethean Board (very interactive electronic white board) at the end of the Awards Ceremony Tuesday night. Tickets will be available at registration: $5.00 each or three for $10.00. The board will be available for view in the 21st Century Classroom prior to Tuesday evening. The Board is donated by Promethean as a result of partnership with the Technology Committee.
Promethean is willing to pay for shipping to any location in the continental USA. It has a 78" diagonal screen with the projection equipment included (approx. $4,200 value).
