This year we are fortunate to have the National Teacher of the Year (Andrea Peterson), Howard Smith, ATE President-Elect (Paul Paese), former ATE President (Jane McCarthy) and a very special session from a team of individuals on "Teaching In Times of Crisis and Recovery" chaired by Brian Riedlinger.

  • 9:00-9:10: ATE President-Elect -- Dr. Paul Paese
  • 9:10-9:50: Top Ten Items That Make Your Classroom Come Alive - Dr. Howard Smith
  • 10:00-11:05: Keynote Session - Dialogue with Editors: Research on Education - Panel  
  • 11:05-12:00: LUNCH (on your own) Bring a brown bag and talk with colleagues 
  • 12:10-1:00: The Passion for Teaching: Perspectives from the National Teacher of the Year" - Andrea Peterson
  • 1:10-2:00: "Who's Coming to School?" - Dr. Jane McCarthy
  • 2:10-3:00: "Teaching In Times of Crisis and Recovery" - Team: Chaired by Brian Riedlinger
  • 3:00-3:10: Drawing for EDUCATIONAL PRIZES!!! (must be present)

Preservice Students are also invited to the Evening General Session on Monday.

Conference Registration for Preservice Students Due by Feb. 8

$25.00  Rate applies to Preservice Students for MONDAY ONLY.

$100.00  Student rate, Sunday - Tuesday, includes the Preservice Strand.

Note: With the $25.00 rate, preservice students are able to attend any of the sessions on MONDAY ONLY, however, only those listed above as the preservice strand will be especially designed for them.
