Purpose:
The purpose of the Reading Language Arts Teacher Educators Special Interest Group is to form a community of learners interested in the teaching of reading and the Language Arts. To this end, the university-based and school-based members will be encouraged to share teaching ideas, research, syllabuses, course outlines, and resources to help meet the challenges of preparing teachers for the 21st century.
