Engaging in Well-being for EducatorsDESCRIPTION
This workshop will provide educators in all communities, preK-12th grade classrooms, and higher education with practical strategies and applicable resources to prioritize their well-being amidst the ever-changing and challenging demands of their profession. This workshop recognizes the unique situations educators face and offers tailored solutions to promote holistic health through cognitive, emotion, physical, social, even career and community wellness. Through interactive sessions and informative discussions, participants will learn various techniques for preparing for and coping with stress, incorporating self-care practices into their daily routines, and fostering a supportive community within their school environment. Plus, educators will experience ways to integrate their new discoveries into their personal, professional, and pedagogical intentions and interactions. By emphasizing the importance of self-care and resilience, this workshop equips and encourages educators to enhance their overall well-being leading to improved job satisfaction, effectiveness in the classroom, and, ultimately, better outcomes for educators, students, and colleagues.
