Nancy P. Gallavan Conference Attendance and Presentation (CAP) Award (LFTE)

Award - Submission Due Date - July 15, 2025 (Extended to July 22, 2025)
The Nancy P. Gallavan ATE Conference Attendance and Presentation (CAP) Award (LFTE) is conferred annually to a current ATE member and.or a current teacher educator (including any preK-12th grade, higher education, or community practitioner, prospective teacher educator, and/or teacher candidate) who interacts with and provides services for members of underrepresented populations and is interested in becoming and remaining an actively, contributing member of ATE. Specifically, the Nancy P. Gallavan CAP Award is given to help fund the recipient's ability to attend and present at an ATE Annual Meeting or ATE Summer Conference within one year of receipt.

Anne Gayles-Felton Endowed Scholarship (LFTE Award)

About the Scholarship
​The Anne Richardson Gayles-Felton Endowed Scholarship is awarded annually to an undergraduate secondary education major who demonstrates promise not only as a future teacher, but also as a potential teacher educator. The scholarship is administered by ATE in partnership with ATE's Leadership Foundation for Teacher Education (LFTE). The recipient is recognized during the ATE Annual Meeting and Awards Banquet.

Robert J. Stevenson Memorial Scholarship

About the Award
The Robert J. Stevenson Memorial Scholarship was established by the Leadership Foundation for Teacher Education (LFTE) of the Association of Teacher Educators, with major contributions from the Stevenson family. The scholarship supports a classroom teacher pursuing an advanced degree to strengthen teacher leadership skills through the study of teaching.
